Managing Director — Head of CCB Engineering & Architecture | J.P. Morgan Chase’s Consumer and Community Bank (CCB)

Andrew Henderson is Head of CCB Engineering & Architecture for J.P. Morgan Chase’s Consumer and Community Bank (CCB).  His team is responsible for CCB’s new banking platform, agile way of working and next generation engineering experience. His team also leads the transformation of the skills & composition of the people within CCB technology and plays the role of catalyst and coach for teams across CCB in adopting the above.

A native of New Zealand, Andrew recently joined the firm, having worked the last 20+ years in both start-up technology & large financial services firms around the world. He spent 13 years with ING Bank – working in Australia, Ukraine, and in the Netherlands — where his last role was the global Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

He is best known for establishing the ‘bank in a box’ concept for ING Direct Australia where he and his team integrated early private cloud & continuous delivery technologies to enable rapid replication of the Banks infrastructure, application and data assets to any team on-demand. The team won a NetApp global efficiency innovation award and Andrew was named Australian Financial Services CIO of Year in 2012 and global CIO100 winner in 2013.
