BIAN ANNOUNCES THREE NEW MEMBERS: KUTXA, INFOSYS AND CORETRANSFORM

Sibos, Toronto – September 20th, 2011 – BIAN, the Banking Industry Architecture Network, today welcomes three new members into its international community. Kutxa, a Spanish bank, Infosys, the business consulting and technology services provider, and COREtransform, a management consultancy based in Germany, have joined BIAN’s growing network.

The new members join a global community of leading experts from the worldwide banking and software industries who are working together to develop standards that help banks significantly reduce IT costs. To support this initiative, BIAN has recently published its latest deliverables: the BIAN Service Landscape version 1.5, and supporting documents, as a reference framework for banks. BIAN expands with addition of new members, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Rabobank Group, Scotiabank and ACI Worldwide
Frankfurt am Main, Germany – July 5, 2011 – The Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) is proud to announce that four organizations, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Rabobank Group, Scotiabank and ACI Worldwide have joined BIAN and expanded the worldwide reach of the organization. BIAN supports the vision of global IT industry standards which enable banks to lower integration costs, minimize IT risk, and thus allow banks to focus on their strategic priorities. BIAN Analytics Working Group Publishes First Set of Deliverables on Profitability Valuation Aimed at Helping Banks
FRANKFURT, GUETERSLOH AND WALLDORF, Germany — Oct. 28, 2010 — SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) and the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN), in cooperation with the BIAN Analytics working group, today announced the publication of two white papers on profitability valuation. The results highlighted represent a true opportunity for banks to accelerate the replacement of inflexible analytical systems with solutions based on a more flexible service-oriented architecture- (SOA) based analytic environment. Cooperation Between FERNBACH-Software and BIAN Bears Fruit
Luxembourg and Frankfurt. Since international software provider FERNBACH-Software joined the independent industrial association BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) in 2008, their work has come a long way. FERNBACH is not only the Chairman of the Lending working group but has also worked with SAP and other working group members to prepare the first set of deliverables.

Together, FERNBACH and BIAN aim to simplify implementation of SOA (service-oriented architecture) and to strengthen interoperability between individual software modules. Existing standard technologies and specifications will be used to create a comprehensive framework for specialised semantically defined services for the banking industry. UNICREDIT GROUP Joins BIAN

Banks See BIAN on Their SOA Roadmaps
As the banking industry transitions to a service-oriented architecture (SOA) for its IT systems, the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) is working with other major standards bodies in the financial services sector, to lead the way.

Hong Kong, September 15, 2009 -- On occasion of the Sibos 2009 international financial services conference, the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) has produced a white paper that outlines the roles of BIAN and other important standards organizations within the financial services industry in supporting service-oriented architecture (SOA). This paper highlights the benefits of each organization’s efforts and offers insight into the great potential for their mutual collaboration. BIAN is currently in the initial stages of collaborating with the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), the Object Management Group (OMG), and the International Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum, among others.↵
