Service Landscape

The mission of the team is to define the Service Landscape as the decomposition of banking capabilities down to a level of Service Definitions.

Objectives and Scope

  • Define the Service Landscape as a reference view on grouping of banking capabilities at different level of details so that all service definitions can be allocated to it.
  • The definition of the service landscape can include layers and other possible views.
  • Prepare existing versions of Service Landscape for regular publication.
  • Define next versions of Service Landscapes.
  • Provide a comprehensive and specific explanation and guide to the Service Landscape.
  • Define object model and message exchange model for Service Definitions as far as needed for the purpose of: Service Definition and Service Landscape.

Deliverables

- Service Landscape (internal use)
         - A graphical representation of the hierarchy down to Domain Level
         - A basic textual description addressing capabilities and responsibilities
           of all elements (instance) building up the Service Landscape.
- Annotated Service Landscape (internal use)
         - Purpose, scope and rational
         - Explanation of the Service Landscape.
- Publication Document Service Landscape (external use)
         - Meaningful collection for publication
         - Proofread document
         - Graphical support.
- Object Model (internal use)
         - Standard Class-Model
         - No profiling or stereotyping
         - Eventually packing for ownership.
- Annotated Object Model (internal use)
         - Supporting Service Definition teams
         - Working document type.
- Message Exchange Model (internal use, usage in Service Definitions).
