BIAN is presently developing service definitions, SOA guidelines and methodologies, and the building blocks for transitioning to an SOA environment. Although Europe is the where the early work of BIAN is under way, the goals of the organization and the standards developed will be global. How are industry participants outside of Europe reacting.
